With the government easing restrictions to stem the spread of Covid-19, expect more of your favourite places to join the club.

Party organisers Banana Events posted this list of 17 Yangon bars that will now happily welcome your patronage. First one to mention the virus buys the round!

Other favourites that are not mentioned on the list but are open for business include Burbrit Taproom in Dagon township, Tony’s Bar in Sanchaung township, Hapa Coffee & Cocktail on Merchant street in downtown, and, as of Wednesday (June 3), Parami Pizza Downtown.

Meanwhile, restaurants across the city are ready to serve up the dishes we have all missed.

These include Parami Pizza on Parami Road, Nam Su on Bogalay Zay, Ô'Thentic Brassiere, Indian Tadka in Myanmar Plaza, Locale Café Central, Le Planteur Restaurant & Lounge, and Coriander Lead in Bahan township.
