With its stunning coastline, glorious sunshine and laid-back vibes, Myanmar’s Ngwe Saung has all the ingredients for an epic beach party.

Innovative party organisers Banana Events got the memo, so prepare for “Fullmoon Fever”—a beach festival held at Lover View Pool Bar & Bungalows on the full moon of Tabaung from March 7-9.

Sip on refreshing mojitos, dance to wild beats, and gaze out to the Bay of Bengal, as DJs spin all kinds of tunes all day and all night, including house, Latin, techno, drum and bass, psychedelic, and more.

Partiers can chill in the resort’s swimming pool, which faces a beautiful stretch of beach, or take part in loads of fun activities.

These include snorkelling around Bird Island, a green outcrop just visible from the shore, surrounded by clear water, coral reefs and colourful fish.

Or why not cycle to Snake Island to sip on a well-deserved coconut while you enjoy the spectacular views.

Back at base camp there will be yoga and meditation as well as pool and beach games. At night, the beach will come alive with fire dancers, barbecues, and a big bonfire. And don’t forget your buffet breakfast in the morning.

Book your ticket now to secure an early bird offer of 120,000 kyats. After February 23, the price is 135,000 kyats per ticket. This covers transport to the beach and back, two nights stay in a shared room at Lover View Pool Bar, two meals per day and drinks.

The bus leaves from Yangon’s French Institute at 10pm on March 6 and returns on March 9 at about 10pm. But be quick! The bus has space for 40 people.
