The SONNE Social Organisation centre in South Dagon township will provide children with food and education.

Jochen Meissner, 41, and Kyaw Min Naing, 31, of tour operator Uncharted Horizons Myanmar have made it their goal to raise enough funds to support 40 street children.

On Friday (August 25) revellers and local musicians joined them at Port Autonomy for a lucky draw and a dance.

A portion of sales from two themed drinks went to the charity, contributing to 2,590,000 kyats (about US$1,718) that customers and Port Autonomy helped raise, though people can still donate to the cause.
